Our job is two-fold. First, to help leaders model behaviors and attitudes, develop skills and the requisite knowledge needed, to empower people, develop servant leaders, and create conditions for success at work. Our team of PowerSkills Associates, led by the president and CEO

PowerSkills has a cadre of experienced trainers and consultants who specialize in facilitating interactive workshops and seminars that will help you enhance your working environment. Bob is a dynamic speaker, facilitator, trainer and coach, who has been delivering inspirational messages to audiences across this country and around the world. He is committed to being a transformational change agent for people, programs, organizations and communities. His goal is to provide people with practical ways to grow themselves, their people and their organizations, from the inside, out. He uses a systems approach to help people assess individual needs and strengths, team/group challenges and opportunities, and organizational barriers and bridges to success.
Bob’s commitment to ‘no blocks and no barriers to service’ has enabled him to be of service to Fortune 500 companies including American Airlines, AC Nielson, and Kohler Company; government agencies including the Federal Judicial Center, Chicago Department of Human Services, and the Corporation for National Service; professional associations including HRMA Chapters; non-profit and educational organizations including the University of Chicago, Youth Guidance in Chicago, Attitudes & Attire of Dallas; and faith-based organizations including Methodist, Unity, and Religious Science churches across the country.
Bob’s educational background in Management & Policy (MA), Social Work (MSW) and Pastoral Studies enables him to see the multiple dimensions of issues and challenges, and create sustainable solutions at the personal, inter-personal and organizational levels. His trademarked

Jewel
is a warm and enlightening trainer and facilitator who specializes
in many facets of personal, professional and organizational
development. Her areas of expertise include strengthening
communication skills, leadership development, and enhancing
performance. Jewel sparks discovery for individuals to recognize
the connection between their spirit and productivity in
organizations. Her studies in Adult Education, Communication
and Social Work, enable her to engage the whole person in
training that leads to insight, awareness and meaningful
interaction with others. Jewel is a nationally renowned
facilitator and trainer for some of the largest organizations
in the U.S.. She has particular expertise in the areas of
learn technologies and instructional design.
Jewel's audiences have included several key departments
in the United States government; a few of them are the Department
of Defense, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department
of Finance and Accounting Services, and the Corporation
for National Service. Internationally, she has also, developed
and presented a series of workshops for the Department of
Environment, Natural Resources in the Philippines. Jewel
is a keynote speaker and made presentations at numerous
business as well as non-profit meetings and conferences.

Sylvia
Wilkins-High is a nationally recognized training consultant
and motivational speaker who inspires clients and audiences
to get from where they are to where they want to be. She
is a powerful speaker and trainer who has consistently demonstrated
her ability to empower others to take actions that mirror
their personal and professional goals.
Her
15 years of extensive training, consulting and business
experience has assisted her in providing a broad base of
clients and organizations with staff development. She assists
organizations, both internationally and nationally, in areas
such as dimensions of leadership, teamwork, effective presentation,
conflict management, diversity, selling skills, effective
management, effective communication and change management.
Some of her clientele include Hewlett Packard, Packard Bell,
Bank of America, American Heart Association, Untied Way,
VISTA, Americorps programs and Nortel Communications.
Sylvia
has a degree in communications and has been trained by one
of nations largest training company. She is a participant
of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD)
as well as Toastmasters International. She has been certified
by Mandil Communications in effective presentation skills.
Sylvia is truly dynamic and has hosted a TV motivational
show called YES YOU CAN!
Sylvia
concentrates on helping people turn vision into reality.
Her exposure and ability to help employees within major
organizations has forwarded many in their own personal and

CATHY LINS
Since 1985, Cathy has provided training and technical assistance to community and government agencies. Cathy has a background in community organizing and organizational development. She has been a leader in health and family programming, with prior work for the University of Wisconsin and Minnesota Extension Service, and the State of Wisconsin's Department of Transportation. Participants from her programs have appreciated her depth of knowledge, her enthusiasm, and her sense of humor.
Cathy has personally been involved in issues affecting the Latino communities in Central and South America, and throughout the United States. The American Public Health Association's Latino Caucus recognized her in 1998 with a Public Health Leadership award. |
